Beyond the Big Bang
The universe inspires wonder. The question of who is wondering opens another dimension of inquiry.

Begin with the evidence
Modern cosmology traces the observable universe back to an early hot, dense state roughly 13.8 billion years ago. Cosmic expansion and the cosmic microwave background are central parts of that account.
Hubble and the James Webb Space Telescope extend our observations of cosmic history. Those observations continue to invite careful questions about the earliest stages of the universe and the limits of present knowledge.
NASA: The universe ↗The questions that remain compelling
What does an origin mean when time and space are themselves part of the inquiry? What do we mean by a singularity? Can a physical account of cosmic evolution answer every question about existence? How should we investigate Consciousness?
Who Banged the Big Bang! invites readers to follow these questions with the same seriousness they bring to the world around them. The book develops a Vedantic account of causality, human composition and the Infinite.
The subtle and the gross
Prabha's article 'The Big Bang Is Dual & Cyclic' presents two phases of manifestation within a philosophical model: a subtle phase concerning the powers of experience and activity, followed by a gross phase concerning the tangible world.
The model also considers cycles of manifestation and dissolution. These are the author's Vedantic interpretations. They are presented here as material for philosophical examination, with their terms distinguished from the established uses of those words in physics.
Turn the inquiry toward the knower
We explore galaxies through observation, instruments and inference. We examine ourselves through attention, reasoning and reflection. Both demand a willingness to question what seems obvious.
The book asks the scientific thinker to include the investigator in the investigation. What is the relationship between the changing contents of experience and the Consciousness through which those contents are known?
Continue the exploration
Read the complete article on dual and cyclic manifestation, explore the Causal Body and Creation lessons on the VedanticOrg channel, or begin with the book's sections on human goals and composition.
Let wonder lead to a well-formed question. Let that question become the beginning of a sustained inquiry.
